Over the last few weeks, I have been testing out a couple cocktails from Pendleton Whisky’s new recipe page! It’s safe to say there is a drink for everyone! I tested these drink recipes out by pairing them with recipes from my cookbook, Field To Fork and serving them to loved ones for Valentine’s Day. Here is a recap of how I put my own twist on each recipe made #WithPendleton along with how I paired them with food!
First up, the Rodeo Rita. This seemed to be everyone’s favorite, but aren’t Margs everyone’s favorite anyways?! I paired this with some of my Smoked Paprika & Sriracha Lime Sea Salt along with chips & guac!
Next, was the Rodeo Mary, yes… This is a Bloody Mary made with Pendleton! Again this drink paired perfectly with those infused salts & all the garnishings. I recommend making a hot dip when serving this for a small crowd, it would make a great party drink + snack combo!
To warm you up, we have the Cowboy Coffee! This is the PERFECT drink to pair for a breakfast get together with your girlfriends. I added a dash of cocoa in with the coffee before adding the Pendleton & it basically was a Pendleton Mocha! If you want to get fancy, add some chocolate sprinkles on top of the whipped cream & make some cinnamon rolls to serve with it!
Last, but most definitely not least, the Midnight Shindig. Talk about taking your champagne toast to a new level! You could get creative here by adding your favorite flavored bitters. This drink makes the perfect date night home drink!
