I'm so glad you're here!

I was born on the California coast line - a city girl living a city girl life. If someone would have told me, I'd be raising a whole farm of animals, growing my own produce, writing my own cookbook, marrying a Iowa Farm boy (#mabelmaegetsadad) - I would have said, "YES, that sounds just about right!" 

You see, my love for raising and cooking my own everything is rooted in my Sicilian, Chinese and Irish perfectly imperfect heritage. I grew up in the kitchen. Flash forward years later, the farm saved my life, and I'll forever tend to it for the rest of my days.

If you're like me, you have a heart for doing things yourself, you adore cooking with the seasons, you find inspiration in the chicken coop, and you're just constantly overdressed on the farm.
