Frequently asked questions
My goal is to create recipes that will work for everyone, whether you are skilled in the kitchen or just know your way around a microwave meal, these recipes will be for YOU. I want to make sure these recipes are foolproof, not just a recipe card with a beautiful picture that never turns out no matter how closely you follow the recipe! I am working hard to test every single recipe!
A: I will open up pre-orders for a very short window to my email list! You will get an email with a link to pre-order the book. Make sure you are signed up on the subscriber list! I haven’t decided if I will open the pre-order up to everyone yet.
A: This is a real book, with real pages! The release is set for the 3rd week in August 2020. Exact date to be announced!
A: Yes, I will be sharing some on my blog each week. I am also going to save some for the book. I am still doing a lot of recipe testing! When I say recipe testing, I mean I threw a bunch of ingredients in a pot & I am trying to nail down the exact measurements for you. A lot of people use a recipe developer for their cookbooks but I am not. Most of these recipes are either family recipes I have cleaned up to a healthier version or recipes I have created over the years + a few from my friends!
A: I have shared a few sneak peaks on IG but I will be sharing some behind the scenes from photoshoots & prep work. Right now I am working on the actual book work, the fun shoots are coming May-July!
A: There’s no ‘theme’ & most of my cooking uses some cleaner options, I do still use some wheat & gluten flours, but most of my cooking is refined sugar free. This book will be a mixture of all types of recipes including appetizers, sides, farm/garden grown meals, breakfast, dinner (mains), salads, sauces, sweets & more! Maybe in the future I can offer something for specific categories. For now, I will share these on the blog. I’ve had a lot of you tell me you want gluten free options, one pan dinners, or you have a lot of wild game but don’t know how to cook it, since these are pretty specific they will be available here for now & maybe another book in the future 😉
A: Yes! Most of my meals are seasonally inspired so I will be sharing how to use different types of food during different times of the year. Squash blossom flowers are the best treat during the summer- everyone that has tried them, loves them! There will be a small garden section in there also but check back into the farm section on the blog for more garden tips.
A: There will be a detailed list in the book but I will be sharing a blog post on this soon!
